Who is SpaceCat?
Our team consists of a happily-married couple named Lauren and Joshua. We are located near Philadelphia, PA in the United States of America. Our two employees are also the inspiration for our website--our kitties! Their names are Lucy (Diluted Calico) and Boris (Black Tabby). We met at college orientation and have been annoying each other for 13-years...happily, of course. :-)
Why is SpaceCat different?
Our philosophy is two fold. 1.) Your keyboard can look amazing and take the form of almost anything you would like. 2.) It does NOT have to cost a fortune. This hobby can be pretty expensive, so we strive to offer a selection of reasonably priced products with just as affordable shipping options.
Where do you ship to?
We ship domestically in the United States to every state, even those super far away from us! As for international, we do offer it, however the current prices are as low as we can possibly get them...but we would really like to get these lower for our out of country customers. This is an ongoing process and we are working hard to figure out better logistics and get you taken care of. Please keep an eye out on our website for any updates.
What type of shipping do you offer?
We offer USPS First Class (orders under 1lb only) and USPS Priority Mail shipping options. These can be selected at checkout by the customer when more than one option is available. There are special times when we may use FedEx or UPS to ship your item. This is rare and only occurs when the price you paid for shipping is the same, but FedEx/UPS will get your order to you faster than USPS. Nothing is required for our customers to do, this is entirely handled by the SpaceCat team. We will never ship an item slower than what you have selected when checking out...only faster!
Do you accept returns?
We do! If there is something wrong with your order, please let us know and we have a variety of options we can offer you. There is no restocking fees for damaged orders, however if the items are not damaged the return shipping price will be the customer's responsibility plus an additional 15% (of total returned goods) restocking fee. Anything that is an error on our end will be taken care of by us. The last thing we want is someone to be unhappy with their orders or to receive damaged goods.
How fast do you ship orders?
Typically orders are shipped within 24 hours (business hours only, weekends and/or holidays may incur slight delays due to postal closings). Your tracking information will usually be emailed to you the night you place your order, or next morning (business days only). The exception to these rules are orders placed after 3pm EST. Those will count for the next day and will be handled as such.
When do you restock items?
This can be a little tricky. It usually depends on our suppliers with how fast we are able to restock items that are sold out. Typically if an item is low, we will preemptively order new inventory to minimum the time they are unable to be purchased, however sometimes an item will not be in stock due to a variety of reasons (shipping, customs, etc). Generally an item can be expected to be restocked within 1-2 weeks if everything goes well. If you have a specific question about an item, please let us know and we will try to help!
Will your sell my items on your store?
Maybe! The only way to find out is to contact us and see if we can work something out. We are always looking for quality products to offer our customers, so if you have something that falls into that category, let us know!
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept a wide variety of payment options in order to make the process easier for our customers! You can feel free to use your PayPal account and/or balance; or you can use our online credit card processing system (entirely secured for your ease of mind) to place orders. For those more tech-savvy of our customers, we will soon be accepting Bitcoin and other Altcoins when checking out. Stay tuned!
