This adapter cable will allow you to go from a USB-C (Male) port to an USB-A (Female) Port and use the device in OTG (On The Go) mode--if supported.
This is very useful if you have devices that inherently use USB-C and you wish to change that to something else more compatible.
The connectors are metal and very, very sturdy. These aren't going to break anytime soon. They are available in 3 different colors, as well (see photos).
